This is the instruction to handcraft Kasiu (pronounced cashew) the White Persian. She stands five and a half inches tall and six and a half inches from nose to tail.
Kasiu
Persian's were originally imported to Italy from Persia in 1620 and were drastically different from what we see today. Over hundreds of years, they have been bred with shorter muzzles and stockier bodies.
The Persian is known for having a round face and a vertical alignment of forehead, nose, and chin. This has gone to the extreme, especially in North America, and there are a number of health issues from this. Breeders can minimize these by careful choice of breeding stock.
