German Shorthaired Pointers (GSP) are very streamlined but powerfully built. They have the speed and agility to move rapidly and turn quickly. The tails are usually docked leaving enough to let the dog communicate through tail wagging and movement.

The GSP love interaction with humans and appreciate active and energetic families. They are intelligent, bold, and affectionate that is cooperative and easily trained. They make excellent watchdogs and are extremely loyal, friendly and fun.
